An Example of How to Upsell! (in: Strategic Influence): Whilst standing in the queue to pay for an item I was buying I overheard the sales assistant's response when asked a question from a potential customer. By using the wrong language and not asking more specific questions the sale was lost. What should they have said?

How Not To Ask! (in: Training Videos): I was recently in a High Street health shop at the Checkout when the assistant asked me a “Do Not Buy” question. What could she have done to get me to buy?

VAK are the 3 commonly used ones. There are others of course being Gustatory (taste) and Olfactory (smell). Greater sales results can be attained by combining all 3 processing systems rather than relying on one or two. A person will usually however, have one dominant system that supersedes all others.
