People buy for emotional reasons they justify with logic. It’s like if you buy a car you normally buy one not for the gas mileage but for how it looks or makes you feel? People will do more to avoid pain than they will to gain pleasure (would you rather work hard to earn 100K or fight to prevent someone from stealing your 100K?). People are motivated mostly by PAIN.
